Arctic Construction International represents an elite group of companies offering a full range of services to the Oil & Gas and Mining industries. We can provide expert planning and logistical support necessary to make a project successful.

The strength of ACI is the ability to work in remote areas, often in extreme conditions, and to complete projects on time. ACI has worked extensively in the Russian Far East, the Russian Arctic, Siberia, Kazakhstan and the states throughout the Caspian region and Libya.

We operate a large fleet of late model Caterpillar and Hitachi earth moving and pipe laying machines, Western transportation equipment, and various camp facilities and support equipment. Currently the majority of this equipment is maintained and stored in our extensive support facility located at Tengiz, Kazakhstan (TengizChevroil project). This location is central, providing convenient rail transport options to central Kazakhstan, and within the Caspian region; Aktau to the south, with Atirau and Aksai (Karachaganak) to the north.

Outside of Kazakhstan, transportation by rail, truck or barge to the Caspian border states can be arranged on a project by project basis.
New market initiatives include the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and Qatar. ACI is well positioned to carry out projects throughout the Persian Gulf Region.

ACI has been involved in the Canadian oilfields and Canadian mining industry since the 1950's and we have acquired the necessary experience, equipment, personnel, and expertise to ensure that any job we take on is completed in a safe manner, to our usual high standards.

All our personnel, both Ex-pats and Nationals are treated as equals, and are able to voice an opinion and speak directly to senior management about operational, safety and personal concerns. This has built a strong bond between ourselves and our personnel. Our approach is to involve Nationals as employees, and independent contractors. As a company we have made a commitment to hire and train Nationals as supervisors, operators, drivers, kitchen staff and labourers, and to educate them in western work standards and business practices.

Safety
Our operations are planned and executed in accordance with the strictest safety standards in mind. Our personnel, both Ex-pats and Nationals are continually updating their safety-training.

Environment
Global regulations in regard to Environmental Protection are very stringent and we have extensive experience in this regard. We are committed to environmentally sound practices and have made it our policy to utilize the latest technology available. Our construction of bridges and other structures over environmentally sensitive creeks and rivers has also been very successful and we take pride in maintaining our excellent track record with all Environmental Agencies.
